Job Description

The principal duties of an Outline India Communications Officer will include:

1) Lead our social media outreach activities, oversee online posts and expand our visibility and presence

2) Manage website content

3) Write media articles, research pieces, blog posts and create short and accessible outputs from our larger research projects

4) Assist team in writing concept notes and project proposals.

5) Coordinating with the Business Development team for outreach material

6) Attending conferences, meetings, events

Job Description

Reporting and working closely with the team at Outline India, the Quantitative Researcher will be engaging primarily in enforcing Quantitative methodologies and implementing Survey Tools on Digital Platforms, training field teams and ensuring field surveys are planned and implemented in a structured manner.

Alongside this the Quantitative Researcher will be responsible for guiding, providing ideas and strategies for product development for TYM. We are looking for someone who is interested in working with a growing social enterprise and is keen on contributing to its growth.

 

The job role focuses on:-

1) Development and Deployment of Survey Tools using CAPI programs like Survey CTO, Survey-be etc.

2) Data cleaning and mining

3) Management and Monitoring of datasets

4) Training field team on the usage of CAPI on tablets

5) Coordination with field team to ensure quality data checks

6) Quantitative analysis

7) Planning for field surveys

8) Budgeting for Field surveys

9) Secondary Research and Sampling for Proposals

10) Oversee daily data collection activities and ensure adherence to data quality protocols, including data quality audits and frequency checks

11) Help with the design of the questionnaires

12) Hire, train, and manage survey, qualitative researchers and implementation teams in collaboration with the Field Manager   


Qualifications

1) Master's Degree in Economics or a related field

2) Fluency in English and Hindi (knowledge of any other regional language will be valuable)

The Senior Qualitative Researcher will closely work on research projects, developing study designs and survey instruments, be conducting fieldwork and writing report. We are looking for someone who has experience in conducting interviews and Focuses group discussions and is willing to travel across the country for fieldwork.

Responsibilities include:-

1. Preparing research proposals (working on the method and sampling, both quantitative and qualitative for monitoring and evaluation, impact assessment studies).

2. Literature review, design and pilot survey instruments and tools.
