In alignment with Outline India’s mission to empower stakeholders to make data-driven decisions, we are creating ‘Track Your Metrics’ - a concurrent assessment tool. It is an innovative, unique, all-in-one platform and application. It allows for survey formulation, data collection, data monitoring, and most importantly, provides access to a master question bank which can be customised to suit the users needs. It will enable stakeholders working across the education, health, water and sanitation sector to assess their work, widen impact, create accountability, and thus, seek funds and enable scaling up of operations.
Outline India uses advanced technology to build detailed maps as an additional layer to qualitative and quantitative survey data. This step can enable: o! Infrastructural mapping and planning: understanding access to schools, health care facilities, roads and hence impact on standard of living o! Corroborating topographic & geospatial information o! Contextualizing analysis of the drivers of inequalities. o! Visualization & improve planning of interventions.
Household Expenditure – There is an enduring assumption that women are more responsible when it comes to expenditure, spending more on their family as opposed to personal expenses. We test this assumption by using NSSO Consumer Expenditure Data from 2012 and seeing the differences in the expenditure of male and female household heads.
