Outline India conducted a baseline study to understand the seeks to capture current roofing conditions and the benefits of cool roofs for slum dwellers.

The project aims to also mobilize communities to generate awareness on the benefits of using cool roof technologies by providing training on the use of this product. Outline India is conducting surveys across 1500 households in Savda Ghera, Delhi. The baseline survey was about the characteristics of families living in this community, in order to better understand the relationship between indoor temperature and quality of life and asked households about their expenditures on food, health,  education, employment, the standard of living, cognitive abilities, expenditures on energy and assets and savings.Stratified random sampling was done to identify households and the survey is being conducted using CAPI platform- SurveyCTO.
