Job Description

The Business Development Executive will work in close association with the Communications and Strategy Team and assist in developing strategies for growth, exploring new business opportunities, and maintaining relations with existing clients. 

We are looking for someone who is interested in working with a young and growing social enterprise and is keen on contributing to its growth within the development/social sector.


  • Good knowledge of the development sector. Preferably, candidates with prior experience of working with CSRs. Interest in development sector/social sector research is crucial.

  • Being up-to-date with the CSR ecosystem.

  • Identifying opportunities for growth and diversification within the social impact space.

  • Closely working with the Founder and the Communications and Strategy team to:

    • Conduct stakeholder landscaping

    • Develop BD and CSR strategies 

    • Develop relevant collaterals 

  • Developing business proposals for existing and potential clients/partners.

  • Provide support to clients during initial phases of engagement and maintain business relations through necessary follow-ups.

  • Attending conferences, networking events, and representing the organization.


Qualifications

  • Qualification:


    • Relevant educational background preferably someone with a degree in Business Development, MBA, or Marketing. 

    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

    • Proficiency in MS tools.

    • Proficiency in English.

    • Previous work experience in the development sector, national and international NGOs would be an advantage.

    • Market knowledge.

    • Ability to build rapport.

    • Previous experience in Business Development/CSR foundations. 

    • Applicants from Delhi/NCR, Mumbai, and Bangalore would be preferred.

    • A minimum experience of 4-5 years in the relevant sector is required.

Job Description

Data Checks, analysis and reporting  


  • Strong understanding of regressions, clustering techniques and statistical tests to analyse data 

  • Management and monitoring of datasets on a regular basis

    • Identify issues in data on an ongoing basis- at enumerator level, location and by type of question; accordingly supervise and provide instructions for enumerators collecting and tabulating data

    • Oversee daily data collection activities and ensure adherence to data quality protocols

  • Data cleaning which includes building codebooks, doing consistency checks, and adjusting and weighting of data for comparative analysis. 

  • Identify relationships and trends in data, as well as any factors that could affect the results of research

  • Lead report writing 

    • Report results of statistical analyses, including information in the form of graphs, charts, and tables

 

Proposal Writing

  • Design research projects that apply valid scientific techniques and utilize information obtained from baselines or historical data in order to structure uncompromised and efficient analyses

  • Write research methodologies for bids, together with figuring out the right sampling techniques

  • Review secondary data sources for sampling 


Fieldwork Planning and Execution

  • Developing, coding and deploying of survey tools using CAPI programs such as Survey CTO

  • Review of survey tools received from client

  • Assist the research team in developing training material for the field team

    • Travel to field for the purpose of training and monitoring fieldwork 

    • Training field team on the usage of CAPI on tablets 

  • Coordination with the field team to ensure quality data checks


Qualifications

Essential


  • Master's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics or a related field

    • If you have good quantitative skills without these degrees, we would like to hear from you

  • Strong knowledge of quantitative methods of data collection and the ability to analyse data

  • Proficient in working with any one (or more of) STATA, SPSS, R. Python or other statistical packages is mandatory

  • Understanding of monitoring and evaluation, log frames, RCTs, quasi experimental methods 

  • Fluency in English and Hindi (knowledge of any other regional language will be valuable)

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Demonstrated experience in using digital data collection platforms and in cleaning datasets


Desired

  • Ph.D. in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics or a related field

  • 2+ years of experience in quantitative research methods

  • Candidates having prior fieldwork experience will be given preference

  • Experience of working with National/ International NGOs/ UN Bodies/Government/start-ups will be valued

We are looking for an experienced and passionate WordPress Developer and Tester to join our team! 

As a WordPress Developer at our company, you will be responsible for both back-end and front-end development for the company websites, including creating customized WordPress themes and plugins. Roles and Responsibilities:
