Ishita is an aspiring researcher, hoping to work more in the domain of climate change and its effects on the most marginalized. She completed her Master's in Politics with a specialization in International Relations from Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi. She worked as a research assistant at the Management Development Institute and has presented her working paper on 'Microplastic Pollution in the Indian Ocean System' at the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. She has also co-authored two chapters in the book titled "Environmental Jurisprudence in India", published by ABS Books.

She loves to travel and explore new places, and loves history - especially food history. She hopes to be a positive force in the domain of social development and research.
