This study undertaken by Outline India and Asian Development Bank helped to understand the challenges specifically related to access to ICT-based learning tools (e.g., electricity supply, adequate internet access, availability of computers and mobile phones) and learning environment at home (e.g. parental support, access to dedicated space and equipment.). The findings of the study also helped inform policymakers and school officials in developing effective online/remote learning modalities for future disruptions in school education, as well as in considering potential learning interventions with ICT applications.
