Sightsavers India, as part of its new “Urban Eye Health Project” initiative in Uttar Pradesh, supported a baseline situation assessment for an Urban Eye Health Project in the slums of Kanpur and Prayagraj. Outline India conducted research to explore and understand eye health status from the perspective of accessibility, availability and affordability and prevalence of avoidable blindness.
