Outline India had been contracted by the Lancet COVID 19 Commission to assess the prevalence of Post COVID Syndrome in India. This primary research study aimed to identify long-term health consequences experienced by survivors of COVID-19 as well as explore the effect of ‘long COVID’ on mental health, so as to create an open-access database that can support public health measures and policy-guided actions for easy rehabilitation of patients. This exercise was supported by the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network.
