Bio:
Mathew is a development sector professional with over 16 years of work experience in the social development sector.
He has worked at senior roles in Deloitte and KPMG as a development sector consultant and has led numerous evaluations and program assessments in areas like Education, Health and Livelihoods and more recently has been focusing on the changing regulatory and policy level environments and focuses on the Social and Governance aspects of ESG.
Mathew has delivered over 50 assignments within the CSR/Responsible Business Advisory space in India, providing end to end solutions (including program design, social innovation, internal governance and operations, strategy, M&E framework and partner due diligence) and has also worked extensively with various multi and bi lateral donors. Mathew has also led projects with UNICEF and UNDP and similar organisations with remote monitoring and capacity building during the COVID 19 pandemic. He has also led large evaluations for donors like Oxfam, Plan India, Save the Children, Water Aid, Swades Foundation, Clinton Foundation, USAID, UNOPS, UNRWA, UNDP, DFID, UNICEF and the Tata Trusts.
He has worked in India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Liberia, Sierra Leone, Ghana, Qatar, Sri Lanka, Ethiopia, Lebanon, UK and the USA.
Mathew is also on the Advisory board on CSR for the Confederation of Indian Industries and advises the CII on CSR Policy and strategy related issues.
